Design idea: post 6

This week I spent some time thinking about what to design for our final project and doing sketches of mountains and cabins, autumn forests, and rivers. I finally came across the WV Quilt Trail. I have seen several quilt blocks along roadsides and have thought they were really pretty. It dawned on me that these designs are a great part of WV history as well as perfect for translating into a stained glass design. I would love to use this idea and can't wait to get started.

    I love the idea. I remember when the WV state quarter contest was going on, my friends mom submitted a quilt themed design and was one of 5 finalists. Great idea!

    I agree. I think it would have been cool for each of a to design a square then somehow display them as one big picture.

    I was hoping someone would do this design. Quilting is a big part of our history. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
