Hello,
I teach art at Culloden, Milton, Davis Creek, and Altizer Elementary. This is my second year teaching and I couldn't be happier to have my job. Art has always been my passion and I have found that teaching it is eqaully as rewarding as making it.
I fell in love with glass arts when I dabbled in stained glass in college and then again 6 years ago when I started making Lampwork beads. Glass facinated me with its fragile, yet magical nature. I love to explore colors and techniques with lampworking and cannot wait to get back into stained glass. I have also never tried to fuse glass but am excited to try.
I hope to be able to bring glass arts into my glassroom to help students gain an appreciation and understanding of glass and its history in West Virginia.
